Laumeier Sculpture Park was born from a gift made by Mrs. Henry Laumeier of her 72-acre estate to the people of St. Louis County and the greater metropolitan area. Over time, the park has grown to 105 acres and is today an internationally-recognized open-air museum. The institution itself is one of a handful of open-air museums around the world and a unique compliment to the cultural landscape of the St. Louis region. The many changing exhibitions, concerts, educational programs, lectures and special events developed at Laumeier Sculpture Park for all to enjoy support the mission of the institution.
