I moved to the Soulard area about 6 months ago, and instantly got the low-down on where to go and where not go. I've been to Big Daddy's with work girl friends at night, never for dinner. My parents finally came in town the Thursday before Veterans Day and were hungry, so I took them to Big Daddy's because it was close to the house. It was awesome, the buffalo chicken strips were killer, my mom got a salad (who does that?), and my dad got the filet special. The food was absolutely awesome!! The best part is that this was at 9:45pm. Some of the best food we have had in a long time. I always associated the place with cheap drinks and partying. Besides my mom trying to set me up with bartender, the night was perfect.

The Soulard location is always welcoming and fun. The bartenders are fast and my shots seem twice the size as most bars. The place has the historic bar flavor with a lounge upstairs and the best beer garden outside.

Weekdays they do have a happy hour till 7! We buy beer buckets just before then and appitizers (fav r wings and cheese sticks). They always seem to have some shot special with large shots.

Karaoke on Tuesday is always fun. Wed on they have a friendly DJs taking requests. It is fun watching them switch over to a party bar. They pull out the tables and chairs and create a dance floor. Instant PaRty Bar.
