While Albert Pujols is by far the greatest baseball player of our time, I would have to say that I was extremely disappointed in the Pujols 5 establishment. The restaurant is nicely decorated with plenty of sport photos, as well as trophys and other sports memorabilia, however the set up makes you feel as if you are in a maze. You have to go down crazy hallways to get to the bathroom. The atmosphere was very unprofessional. Servers were openly playing on cell phones, as well as talking using deragatory language in the presence of guests. I noticed the manager drinking and taking shots with girls at the bar. The staff seemed very unpleasant and distraught about even being there. I didnt see one employee with a smile on their face. As our meal proceeded, we waited with empty glasses until our food arrived to our table. My husbands salad arrived at the same time that his steak did. His Steak was extremely dry and his mashed potatoes cold. My sister had ordered the seafood special, which was so peppery she couldnt even finish it. I had ordered the Pujols salad. The salad was great. We recieved one refil on our drinks when our server brought us our food. After that we didnt see him again until he dropped off our check. At this point, I had gotten up to go find him and ran into a manager. While talking to the manager he looked rushed, and almost as if I was inconveniencing him. He apologized for our poor experience, however, the apology didnt seem geniune at all. We paid for our meal and left soon after. I will never go back again. And I would never recomend it to anyone.

We ate there on Saturday night it was very good, male waiter was very attentive and fast, went back Sunday after church for early lunch and female waitress was awful, could not find her never got water or extra napkins that were asked for early on.
Food was good though.

Service is horribly slow. At a company happy hour, it took us 45 minutes to get a server to come back for a refill.

I've mentioned this to friends and they have had the same experience at different times of the day.

I won't go back.

I have been to Pujols 5 four times for dinner. The first time was awesome. The food was great; service was great. The next time was the service was good, but the food was not that good. We didnt go back for awhile, but the next time we had appetizers. Service was great and the food was great.

So I decided to take my brother and his work associate to Pujols 5 for dinner when they stayed at the Sheraton in Westport. We almost got up and walked away. Service was incredibly slow. Drinks were bad. Dinner was awful. I had pasta that had no flavor. My brother had a sandwhich in which the meat was dried out and had no flavor. My wife had the BBQ Chicken Pizza which she had before and it previously was great, but this time was not so good. I was embarrassed because I had told my brother it was a very nice place, and he wanted to get up and leave.
