When you hear the words "neighborhood bar" and something along the lines of "he's a regular", many think that translates into a dive bar that serves Natural Light and is filled with a bunch of blue collar workers coming off shift. There's nothing wrong with those kinds of bars or those kinds of drinkers. The Royale is what you'd call a neighborhood bar, but the drinks aren't cheap and the clientele isn't exactly what you'd call blue collar... but the crowd is made up of mostly regulars. Those regulars, though, are mostly in their mid 20s to mid 30s and either come from academia or the business world.

I love the Royale. it is great and the food is delicious. If you've never been, you should go.
