Rooftop to rooftop

We leap from bar to bar to check out the area’s best rooftop views

When I first got the assignment to check out the city’s best rooftop bars I thought, ‘God, I love my life.’ Then it turned 105 degrees. I consulted my personal physician (WebMD) to see if it was possible for a human to actually cook internally if placed in the sun too long (it isn’t), and checked with my fifth grade science book to see if heat really rises (it does). So with my newfound knowledge, I said to myself ‘Well, it may be hotter than a hen in a wool blanket, but at least it won’t kill me,’ and you know what they say – what doesn’t kill me only makes it that much more fun. So we grabbed our shades and linen pants and decided to see just how hot a rooftop party can get.
