Copia re-opens on Washington Avenue
It's taken more than 2 and a half years, but Copia Urban Winery is finally back open. Executive chef Dave Rook is back, and cooking up some amazing things (see the steak fritata, Cobb salad and amazing roasted tomato soup in these photos). The wine list is solid, and growing. Right now, the focus is on cab and French blends. And the atmosphere? Breathtaking. The dining room features falling water features, and the outdoor patio is unlike any other in the city. It actually has a retractable roof. So when it's super hot, you can still be comfortable in a very bright room. And in the winter, you can enjoy a garden setting. When it's nice outside, you'll get the full outdoor feeling. Very cool. Take a look at the new digs.
