I wasn’t going to let my husband get this at first; we try the chili literally every time we eat out somewhere new, and I was feeling chilied out. But I’m so glad we ordered it, because I think it may be the best bar chili I’ve ever had. It was meaty, but not excessively so. There were lots of good onions, seasoning and a load of cheese mixed in. What set it apart for me was the rich tomato flavor that made the whole thing a bit sweet, while still keeping the rich, savory tang going. A meal of just this chili would be perfect.
