Winter patios
Built just in time for the Illinois state-wide smoking ban, one can only imagine Eddie building this patio solely for the “persecuted smoker”; a place where one can go outside, but still have all the amenities and ambience of inside the famous Fast Eddie’s. In the summer, it’s open air, but when we came, they were just setting up the roof for the winter. The edges are all covered, and the red beam and plastic tarp roof in the middle keeps the snow and rain out. Heavy duty heaters, and Eddie’s famously debauched stage and dance floor, keep the place warm all winter.
