But this doesn't seem to be a joke.
TMZ is reporting that comedian/actor Fred Willard, 72, was arrested for lewd conduct last night in Hollywood. Police caught the Best in Show actor with his pants down in public, while watching an adult movie, says the site. It happened around 8:45 p.m. at Hollywood's Tiki Theater. (Remember Paul Reubens' similar arrest in 1991?)
UPDATE: 9:30 a.m. ET: Willard's rep tells Lifeline Live: "No comment."
UPDATE: Noon, ET: Los Angeles police Sgt. Mark Ro tells AP that uniformed vice officers were conducting a routine investigation of the theater shortly before 9 p.m. Wednesday and saw Willard engaging in a lewd act. He says Willard appeared to be alone. Willard was booked on suspicion of committing a lewd act in public and released after midnight without posting bail.
