Duchovny gives it up for the 'Goats'
USA TODAY's Andrea Mandell hit the Los Angeles premiere Wednesday night of Goats, adapted from Mark Jude Poirier’s novel. In the indie flick, David Duchovny, left, plays the Goat Man, a bearded, blunt-toting sage who co-raises a New Age hippie’s (Vera Farmiga) son, Ellis (Graham Phillips), until Ellis heads off to a buttoned up prep school.
In real life, Duchonvy would rather go hippie “because I’ve done the prep school thing.” Modern Family star Ty Burrell, right, who plays Ellis’ absentee father admitted to being a bit more buttoned-up. “I just don’t have the relaxed nature that I’d need to be a hippie,” he said on the red carpet.
