Oct. 9: The power of the masks

When the Redbirds won the World Series back in 2006, KSDK.com set up a section on its website where you could print off masks of Cardinal’s players faces. This year, they have done it again. There I sat [pictured] at the Cardinal’s 2006 World Series Parade with my most hated player in baseball, Jimmy Edmonds, plastered to my face. The fam thought it would be funny to only print me off Edmonds to wear around for the day.
Oh how I hope to one day wear my newly printed masks to the 2009 World Series Parade down the streets of St. Louis this year. After those two loses I don’t know what to expect out of our Redbirds. But there I will be hanging out at Metromix’s Redbird Rallies cheering on the Cards to a victory. I will inform you that I don’t have a most hated player this year. No one has peeved me enough to get on that list… yet.
If you are going to the game or what to see all of the action happening in downtown St. Louis this weekend check out these events. Or visit metromix.com/weekend for all of your weekend events.
