Just home from a group birthday dinner at 'Oh My Darline Cafe' at Clementines. My date was delivered a steak sandwich dinner that had a baby roach crawling on the plate. A number of people checked it out, and yes, it was a live roach. Told the waitress and she offered my date a free drink. And then delivered a bill that still had the roach infested steak sandwich on it, expecting to be paid! Or course it wasn't touched. Also gave us a box to take it home! Give me a break! Tells me this is a common enough occurrence that nothing is done when it happens! Never eating there again! Sharing this so you can be warned.

I'm so full....seoul full..... I feel cheated in life. WHERE HAS THIS PLACE BEEN?!? I feel like life has been playing a horrible trick on me by keeping the knowledge of this restaurant away from me. My wife and I went on a date here and saw a $20 all you can eat. We mistakenly thought it was $20 for both of us and got the food, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We had a heaping serving of marinated spicy pork, with 12 sides, from potato salad to fried rice patties. On top of the sides, a bowl of kimchi soup and an egg I think might've been poached (also awesome). Then, we got seconds of a few of the sides as well as a serving of bulgolgi. My god, the inner lining of my stomach is ripping at the seams and my skin is stretched taut over the bulge of my intenstines. Ended up being $20 a piece, but WELL WORTH IT.

You know there was a time when most of the Blues all lived in Georgetown Apartments. Not sure if Bobby did, but that time in hockey brings me back to Slap Shot and Bobby's Place - both iconic. If you liked Slap Shot, you'll like the real feeling of Bobby's Place and the regular type of fans you'll be drinking with.

My family and I stopped in one night for some tasty treats and found heavenly scent bakery unfortunately. My wife and I let our two young boys 12 and 6 order first as I Was in a trance looking at what I thought was going to be some yummy goodness only to be severly disappointed! their cookies were bland and their brownies were worse. I have never seen treats look so good and taste so blahhh, even my two boys commented something to the effect of gross and tasteless. What really upsets us I think is they claim they use only the best ingredients which has to be untrue as betty crocker duncan hines simply destroys this place and their just sub par cakes and brownies. worst 16.00 weve ever spent! in our opinion save your money this place is a joke! Trying to be honest here ..Stopped by this place on a sunday afternoon with my wife to sample some coffee. Joe, the guy who ran the shop quickly got tired of showing me the different samples and looked very frustrated. As I was a novice in coffee he cannot expect me to buy a pound of beans without even smelling them . Anyways when I revealed that I get my coffee from trader joes ...he got frustrated and suggested me to go to trader joes instead. Honestly sounded very unprofessional and wonder how they are in this business with this unfriendly attitude. By the way all the samples they showed did not smell good and they were not cheap either. I thought of spending my money there as he was a local business ...but his attitude turned me off . Its really sad.

I just wanted to let everyone know, I went there not knowing how it would be. It ended up being a very cool atmosphere The bartender Julie..was amazing and I laughed all night. The owners daughter Kelsey really made my night as well. They both made my wonderful night .. I also had a baby shower there and the food there was DELISH!!! I absolutely recommend this place if you want to feel like a family and have a blast

The food was decent, but the worst thing about the restaurant is their evening bartender named Nancy. Se was very rude and I felt like she had been drinking. I would definitely not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

In the past I have been a fan of Pennie's BBQ but the past few times we have gone there we have had TERRIBLE service and tonight 2/4/13 around 6 pm we went there .. the sign said "Please Seat Yourself" so we sat down and 15 minutes later we had still not even been acknowledged so when we saw a booth open on the other side of the place with a different server we got up and moved to that area.. a young woman with blue green streaks in her hair who had walked past us repeatedly when we were sitting in her section came over and wiped the table with a scowl on her face and still not even the slightest acknowledgement that we were even there! After another 10 minutes the server from that area walked by for the 3rd time and said "I will be with you in a few minutes." but after a few minutes we were still sitting and waiting so my husband and I picked up our coats and walked out after I informed the server that after almost a half an hour of waiting without service we would be leaving and having dinner elsewhere! From today on we will be dining anywhere else but Pennie's!!
