During high school a Counting Crows CD was never far from my DiscMan. Remember those things? I purchased their first three albums, "August and Everything After," "Recovering the Satellites," and "This Desert Life." I really enjoyed all of them, and saw them live when they were on tour for the second or third album. I remember the concert being a good show, but they did fade quickly into obscurity. I have listened to their new stuff, and it bares some resemblance to their earlier work, but has an updated feel to it. I'm not a huge fan of the new album, but the songs are good, and I hope that they deliver a good show this weekend.

Adam Duritz is still supporting the dreads. Their new songs are amazing! Get their album "Saturday Nights and Sunday Mornings" Their setlists change completely every night, so you never know what your gonna get. May I recommend getting or listening to songs besides August and Everything After, so you will know more than maybe 3-5 songs they play, as it is a headlining show.
