Concert pics: Spinnerette

On their self-titled debut album, Spinnerette, the new band from punk-rock goddess Brody Dalle, sound sort of like a cross between Dalle's old band, the Distillers, and Eagles of Death Metal, the sleazy riff-rock outfit her husband Josh Homme works on when he's not busy with his main gig, Queens of the Stone Age. But when Dalle and Spinnerette took the stage at Los Angeles' Troubadour for one of two sold-out warm-up gigs (the other having been the previous night at the Bowery Ballroom in New York), it quickly became clear that this was still the same fiery punk rocker her fans know and love. Our photographer took a beating in the mosh pit but still got some great shots of Dalle and company in action.
