Herbie's Vintage 72

Owners of Monarch, have transformed Balabans off Euclid in the Central West End into a new swanky restaurant, cafe and bar. Herbie's is named after Herbie Balaban and Herbie's back in the 70s was the place to hang out for celebrities visiting St. Louis.  Now offering a reasonable cafe menu in the front of house, an elegant dinner menu for the back of house and at the bar you can order from either menu. Smoking is allowed only in the bar area. Beginning to serve Sunday Brunch. Fabulous dessert, cocktail list, extensive wine list and cuisine from lobster to filet mignon. Much of the art in Herbie's was purchased and brought over from France where Herbie lived for several years and fell in love with both the culture and cuisine.
