I am a retired firefighter from a department in Central Missouri. I have been following the news stories about Lafatette Fire Company No. 1 for about three weeks. I was excited about going to eat there and I did on January 3rd. It is a great place to go for a casual lunch or dinner and a great family resturant. Firefighters are unique cooks with some unusual dishes and I strongly recommend the meatloaf it is unlike anything your mother fixed for Sunday dinner it is great.

Being a fellow firefighter I know that the food and atmosphere is going to improve 100% once these guys get the feel for running a resturant along with fighting fires. The prices are great and when you pay go to pay your bill add a little extra on for the Missouri Childrens Burn Center. If you choose not to add a little extra on to the bill on your way home stop by the burn unit at Childrens Hospital or Cardinal Glennon and you will the next time you visit Lafatte Fire Company No 1. Great job guys I will definitely be back
