Karen Blakemore always wanted to run a restaurant. When the Grove Deli went up for sale, she and her husband Joe jumped at the chance to own it. You can still count on the Grove for a casual lunch; soups, salads and sandwiches are the specialties here. But now, you can also enjoy a bit of nightlife. The new owners have introduced happy hour specials and live weekly entertainment in the banquet room. This just might make the Grove the first deli-slash-club in the St. Louis area.
