Who knew a slab of meat between two buns could spark such controversy? A month or so ago, I decided I was going to go out and find St. Louis' best burger. This piece could have been finished long ago, but every time I told someone I was working on this story, they felt the need to weigh in. Therefore, I felt the need to see if they were right. It was a tough job, but someone had to do it. The nine places I went to all had certain things going for them. Some burgers were really cheap, others were very expensive... some were grilled in a roadside stand, others in a high-end restaurant. But the following nine burgers were all special in their own way.
