2Schae has to be the most welcoming dining experience in St Louis, the location is perfect for corner dining inside or out and the service is next to none. There is a friendly crowd of regulars and new diners alike. It doesn't take long before you're known by name. I always leave with a smile on my face. Lastly and not to take a backseat to the service; the food is extremely good and affordable. I mean, who doesn't appreciate breakfast all day.

I go to 2Schae at least once a week and I don't even live in the area. The super-friendly owners like to get to know their customers. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate. The food is delicious---try EVERYTHING! This is not pre-prepared fast food, so if you're looking for low quality McDonald's type food, it's not for you. For an energy packed breakfast, try the 2Schae Toast. It's wheatberry bread topped with peanut butter, honey, bananas, and granola.

This cafe is a little gem in the cwe. The service is always fast and friendly. Lisa and Don, the owners, are wonderful people who truly care about their customers. The food is amazing and fresh - I especially love the omelettes in the morning, and the french toast!

2Schae Cafe is one of my favorite places in St. Louis! I am extremely picky when it comes to coffee and atmosphere, and this cafe provides the best of both! The owners are lovely and the food is always fantastic! It is a great place that truly brings the neighborhood together.

This cafe is like Cheers. The owners always know your name if you've been in at least twice. The service is great, the friendliness is amazing, and the food is always fresh and delicious. I personally feel that the earlier review was submitted by the girl, who goes by "D" since D was anything but friendly, and as a result is no longer employed. Living in the West End City Apartments, 2Schae is my take out, and I eat there at least twice a week. There is a daily soup special, comfy chairs, outside seating, and fresh made iced tea and coffee. It is a great people watching location. The food does take longer than a fast food place to be made, but that is because everything is made fresh to order, and nothing is pre-made. I suggest anyone looking for a cute little mom & pop stop tries the 2Schae at least once, and you will be back for more!!

Worst service ever received from a small-business.

My sister lives on Pershing so we've met at this restaurant for lunch a few times. Our first two visits were earlier in the year and then once again last week. The first visits went well, we were helped by a young lady whose name I think began with a D? Both times our orders were made soon after being placed and we had no complaints. This last time, the owners? Lisa and Don? were there and it was probably the worst service I ever received at a sit down restaurant. It took nearly 20 minutes to receive our orders. Only three other customers had come and gone during this time. There was no reason it should take so long for a salad and cold sandwich to be made. We were sitting close enough to overhear the owners gossiping with someone I assume was a friend of their's. I was apalled by their lack of professionalism, slow service, and the poor quality of the food (the chicken on my salad was cold and tough) and coffee (also cold and tasted hours old). Never going back.
