Triumph Grill: User Reviews
First and probably last visit. Food was good....nothing over the top but well prepared. Pork Tenderloin was great and Seafood risotto was good, but not great. However service sucked. From the time we entered. There was not much organization at hostess station as we waited about 5 mins to be helped (and we had reservations) and then once sat it took another 5 mins to even get water and then a few more before our server showed up whom had very little emotion.....ordered drinks and app and had to ask where app was after about 10-15 mins and then it was brought out promptly....and shortly after that dinner arrived. No check up from server or service after meal was served hence tip was minimal. It was a nice atmosphere, decent food but service was lacking from start to finish. And it wasn't even very busy....bustling but not busy.

Great job to whoever wrote the menu. They did a great job describing what my salad should have tasted like. The food did not live up to the menu. I ordered the Harvest Salad. It was tasteless. It was suppose to have carmelized apples, walnuts and crumbled cheese. It had a lot of shredded lettuce, tastless apples out of a can, and approximately five crumbles of cheese.
The waiter rushed by and asked my husband, "How does everything taste?" My husband nodded that his was ok. Without a second look, the snooty waiter was off again.
The dinner was redeemed by the dessert shots and coffee. Only one cup of coffee, though, because a second wasn't offered.
I had heard such great things about The Triumph Grill. I was sorely disappointed. Never again. It won't last long if they don't step it up.

We arrived on a Saturday night as a party of four. We did not have a reservation. We were asked to go to the bar and told our table would be ready in 45 minutes. The bar was initially full. We stood as out of the way of the wait staff as we could but were still continuously jostled and bumped. We did receive an occasional angry "excuse me," but the wait staff never apologized for bumping into us.
When we finally received our table 70 minutes after arriving, our waitress took her time in approaching us. When she did stop to speak to us, she inexplicably left before we could order anything. Twenty minutes later, I left our table to tap her on the back and ask if we could order. I am still amazed that was required to do this at a moderately priced restaurant.
The food was okay. The flash-fried calamari was an excellent appetizer. The pretzels with dip were good. The lobster risotto was mediocre, and the wild mushroom pasta was poor.

They only treat un-actractive people bad here. And fat people. Same as at the Vodka burger bar. Me and my Fiance were treated like royalty.

Was really excited for another restaurant to go in by the Fox. Went before a show with plently of time. We were put way back in a corner of corner in some room off to the side and forgotten about. Service was horrible. Took 45 minutes to get our food with no one checking on us to get us fresh drinks or apologize for our wait. Finally got someone's attention to get our food and it was cold and nasty. Boyfriend ordered a NY strip and it was the worst cut of meat I have ever seen. Can't believe anyone would've let it leave the kitchen. Too many choices in St. Louis to go back.

I was expecting the atmosphere to be great, and I was expecting good service, both of which we received. I was expecting moderately good food, but instead was served a delicious meal from cocktails through dessert. Every single bite I took was hands down outstanding. Soup sampler: loved them all. Sandwich sampler: loved them all. My boyfriend's steak was the most expensive item we ordered, and it was my least favorite. We also got a couple of desserts, and they were delicious as well. We're going again this Sunday!

I ate here with 2 of my girls friends on a Monday night and we did the buy an entree and get a bottle of wine at the price of the glass. The best thing about this, was that we could order a sandwich and still get the deal.
I however ordered the smaller portion of the beef tenderloin and it was the perfect size portion for me at the right price. I don't want to leave out that the food was excellent. I will be going back soon for sure. It also had a great atmosphere. The only downside was that parking was scarce so I had to park in a dark, unlit area.

The Triumph Restaurant is amazing and new. They have amazing food and service. The inside of this restaurant is like one that I have never seen before. It is definitely a must try for everyone. It is the kind of restaurant you could go to all dressed up for a night on the town or you could go to in jeans from the game.

Great atmosphere and very good food. I found two things to be true over dinner. The food was great and Atos Origin will be my partner for our SAP implementation.
