Guido’s Pizzeria and Tapas
Credit:Josh Gilbert
We started off early in the day, skipping out of work early in the fashion of the great Spanish work ethic (bring the siesta state-side, Obama!). The first place on our list was located on the Hill, a traditionally Italian neighborhood, and it was also a pizzeria to be precise. Guido’s Pizzeria and Tapas located on Shaw, is an Italian restaurant that just happens to have an impressive list of tapas to boot, which I guess makes sense when you look at a map and Spain and Italy are practically Mediterranean neighbors, if you forget about France (pfftt…“France”…). With a menu that shares equal time between traditional Italian pasta dishes and Spanish entrées and tapas, this is truly an equal opportunity restaurant.
