I have heard great things about Favazz's and have been looking forward to checking out their laid back atmosphere and great food. I was planning on taking out of town guests to get an experience of "the hill" but will be dining elsewhere. I called in 3 weeks in advance and was told that unless i had a party of 10, they would not accept a reservation and no matter what time I arrived with my guests, I would be waiting at least an hour. I am confident my guests can get a much better experience at other locations on the hill that will either take reservations or we will not have to wait an hour.

For $100, we had: a bottle of Echo Domani. The calamari - outstanding! Tender and cooked perfectly. The house salad : Very nice. Just the right amount of dressing. The zuppa: fragrant and well balanced. Linguine pescatore - spicy but lovely. Linguine turro mare - creamy and rich. Tiramisu - fresh and ho-made. Chocolate Amaretto pie - truly delicious! A cup of coffee and fresh espresso to finish.
Great staff! We ate on the patio and I wish it had been cool enough to see that fireplace running but we will be back as the weather changes!

We had visitors from Japan awhile back and took them to Favazza's to experience wonderful food on The Hill. Our group of about 12 received great food and outstanding service and our Japanese guests were very impressed.
