La Pizza on Delmar in U-City - authentic N.Y. style pizza, with none of the Brooklyn accent.

La Pizza doesn't advertise, and most likely it's because it doesn't need to. A small operation on Delmar in U-City, it can only make 70 pizzas a day, and darn it if they don't nearly sell out everytime. Using only the freshest ingredients, and making it's own dough, it whips up N.Y. style pizzas so authentic that it claims 70% of it's customer base is displaced New Yorkers. The other 30% are tireless regulars. Buy it by the slice or get a whole pie, and see what all the talk is about. But you might want to call ahead, it has been known to sell out in hours.
