I live in Charleston South Carolina and travel extensively. I have eaten at Saleems at least once each time I'm in St.Louis. I found the food to be great. Some of the best ethnic lebanese to be found in the USA. The Ambiance is good. If your looking for up scale dinning, this isn't for you. It's more like a true eastern European shabby. One time the air conditioning was not working. Had there been ethnic music one could have imagined being in Beirut. Service is good but not the "at your side" type. Over all it's a must have when I'm in the area.

I have had good middle eastern food in places like Cleveland Ohio. Please if you are use to good middle eastern food - do not go to this place. It is very very American. The waiter did not know what he was describing nor cared about what he was doing.
