The Tenderloin Room: User Reviews
We decided to try the FIVE DIAMOND restaurant. The appitizers were sitting out in the dining room ,uncovered. We were suprised Health dept. allows this. The lobster bisque was simply gross. The bread looked and tasted like wonder bread ( and served w/ rock hard butter) . The waiter ,George ,which reveiws had suggested ..was louder than needed, very pretentious and inefficient. The vegetables were very undercooked and the meat was not the quality we expected! Over all we couldn't wait to pay and leave. We will not be returning or ever suggesting The Tenderloin Room to anyone! What a con!!

I have lived in St. Louis for several years now and have heard of the Tenderloin Room, but never really thought to go there for dinner. Why? I have no idea, considering I live in the CWE and walk by the Chase Park at least once a week. Going to the Tenderloin Room was a spur of the moment decision as some friends and I were having drinks at Scape. We were able to walk right in, and found the food and service to be very good. I had the Tenderloin special that was cooked to perfection. Our server was great and sold us on getting bananas foster for dessert. A good show and a great dessert. The place is expensive, but the overall experience was a good time.
