What a great concept, I'd have to totally diagree with the other reviewer. I have been in numerous times since Filomena's opened. The food is outstanding. I really have enjoyed their appetizer the arancini. I never had this anywhere else in St. Louis. Their entrees are to die for I absolutley love the lasagna and the chicken parmigiano. I even go there for lunch, gotta have the roast beef sandwich. This place is very friendly and I've always had good service. In my book this place is 4 stars.

part 2 - we then watched him (well he had to pull his pants up again) start to put the meat onto the other salad. This all was done with his dirty hands that he put down the back of his pants 2 times within a 3 minute time frame, at this point we canceled our order got our money back and told the person who took our order and the person that seemed to be a manager how dirty their restaurant appeared to be and what we had seen, they kind of shrugged it of and we then left. If you are looking to eat food that is being prepared in a non sanitary environment then this is your place!

Part 1 - This place is DIRTY! We have driven by this place many times and decided to stop one evening. We ordered 2 salads to go, 1 with no changes and 1 with no onions. When you stand at the cash register you can see through the 1/2 window behind the counter that looks into the kitchen. After 1st watching the person preping our food fix his pants by putting his hands inside the back to pull them up and then he attempted to put on foodservice gloves, but after 30 seconds of trying to put them on he decided to do without and started to pick the onions off of a premade salad which I guess was going to be our "no onion salad",
