J. Buck’s in Clayton opened up in 1999, but to many in the St. Louis area the place is a fixture on the upscale dining landscape and seems to have been around for, well, always, right? So why should we care? Well recently the sports-themed restaurant has gotten a new roster of owners, has released some of its satellite stores that downgraded it to chain-food status, and has drafted a new executive chef who brought with him a whole new menu. With the Buck family finally on board for the first time as actual partners, not just a name on the door, they’ve got a reputation of excellence to uphold. Do they hit one out of the park? We took a look inside.

I visited the Clayton Location for a business meeting. The service was fair, the food was horrible. I will never bring client's to J. Bucks again!!...
