Mike Emerson knows barbeque. Mike learned the ins and outs of the barbequing business after spending several years as General Manager at Super Smokers in Eureka. Then about a year or so ago, he and a few other investors decided to open Pappy's. Never in their wildest dreams did they think this place would be as popular as it is now. With a line that can take up to 20 minutes to get through during the weekday rush, it's safe to say the Pappy's secret is officially out.

The BBQ was very poor, not smoked long enough ribs and brisket tough. Some people in St. Louis do not know good BBQ
