Best fish and chips in St. Louis

Schlafly Tap Room

One of the first stops on this Fish & Chips field trip was the Schlafly Tap Room. The fish is Atlantic Cod, battered in Schlafly's own Hefeweizen. This is a bit different than most of the fried fish we've tried. It's deep fried, almost like a chimichanga. As for the actual fish, it's very fresh - and the homemade tartar sauce is thick and excellent.
