If there's one deal that I would say wins for price and 'speediness,' the Speedy Gonzalez at Mi Ranchito would take home the trophy. Most of the lunch specials on their lunch menu are under $5. Yes, you read this correctly, under $5. The Speedy Gonzalez is a beef enchilada, beef taco and choice of rice or beans. From the time I ordered to the time I received the food had to be 3 minutes. Tops. Let's put it this way: I'd only had two chips before my entree arrived. Did I mention that this under $5 delight comes with a very full basket of chips and a mini carafe of salsa? Eat your heart out Taco Bell.
Lunchtime tip: Don't plan to make any substitutions to your lunch special order. The standard is beef and that's what you'll get.
