Paneer pakora

For an appetizer, we started with the paneer pakora. The menu described this dish as homemade cheese slices dipped in garbanzo bean batter and deep fried. Who doesn't love fried cheese? Well, it actually it was pretty bland. But when dipped in the magic bread sauce (see previous slide), it started to taste a little better. I probably wouldn't order this again, though.
