Sloppy sandwiches

The knife and fork are one of the most helpful inventions in human history, but sometimes it's more fun to put them down and dive right in and get your hands dirty. St. Louis has a lot of great sandwich joints, and there are plenty of restaurants that, while not neccesarily known for sandwiches, serve up some good ones nevertheless. But this story isn't just about great sandwiches. We really wanted to find the local establishments that serve up some of the messiest creations between two slices of bread. You may want to keep that knife and fork close by though, because it's going to get messy!
