MMMM ... Sandwiches
The best of what's between two buns (or two pieces of bread). I'm getting hungry just thinking about it.

Adriana's -
5101 Shaw Ave. - St. Louis
Report this commentThis quaint Hill lunch spot often has a line ... but huge portions of great Italian fare a well worth the wait. I recommend, well, everything ... though I'm partial to the meatball. Just make sure that you grab a stack of napkins.

Lester's Sports Bar and Grill -
9906 Clayton Road - Ladue
Report this commentFor sky-high sandwiches, there is no better bet than Lester's. One part sports bar and one part sit-down dining, I have a hard time straying away from the corned beef (though be warned ... a half order is probably more than you need).

Mom's Deli -
4412 Jamieson - Saint Louis
Report this commentThere are certain things that are worth waiting for ... and a Mom's Special is one of them. No matter how long the line, I assure you, you won't be sorry.

Rooster -
1104 Locust St. - St. Louis
Report this commentThough better known for their long list of sweet and savory crepes, one of the best items on Rooster's menu is their B.E.L.T. (a traditional BLT with a fried egg). As far as brunch food goes, there is nothing better.

Crown Candy Kitchen -
1401 St. Louis Ave. - St. Louis
Report this commentIf you haven't had Crown Candy's BLT, know that it is the stuff of legends. Easily boasting more than 1/2 lb. of bacon, your stomach will thank you. Your heart? Not so much. I, myself, am also partial to the egg salad (on white!). Just like grandma used to make.

Smokehouse Market -

Report this commentAll sorts of gourmet deliciousness ... this is where I want to go whenever I'm in Chesterfield Valley.

Blues City Deli -
2438 McNair - St. Louis
Report this commentThe Turkey Supreme is heaven on a seeded baguette.
